Vancouver meetings information:
The Club's monthly critique is usually the last Saturday morning
of each month at the Roundhouse Community Centre, Pacific
Boulevard and Davie Street, Vancouver. However, times
and dates can vary, so please check the web site
for exact details.
Meetings consist of about a half hour of business (upcoming
events, etc...) followed by an informal but very constructive
critique lasting approximately one hour. Bring photos and
slides you wish to have critiqued. The meeting room will be
posted on the board in the foyer.
Critiques are free of charge for members. Non-members are
invited to attend for a nominal fee of $2 (the first visit
is free). The format is that most people bring one or two
photos or slides for the group to critique and offer suggestions
(all in a very informal & supportive way). Everyone interested
in amateur photography is invited to attend, and is welcome
to join the Club to be able to participate in its various
activities, including hanging photos in exhibits.
There is often a short photo field trip in the Yaletown neighbourhood
after the critique.
