PhotoClub Vancouver website photo
posting criteria
1) You must be a paid up member. If so, write to
the webmaster at webmaster@photoclubvancouver.com
with your name (John Smith), your login (jsmith, clicker, etc…)
and a password (minimum 5 characters). You can change your password
later if you wish.
2) Once the webmaster has verified with the treasurer
that you are a paid up member, your gallery account will be created
and you will be notified (you can also check the “Member update”
function in the gallery from time to time to see if your account
has been set up).
3) Access your gallery account by clicking “Members”.
Enter 2 pieces of information:
1) your username, 2) your password, and click the “Login”
button.
4) This will give you access to your member’s
page, with 3 choices:
1) “Edit my photos”, to be used for adding or changing
your photos;
2) “Update my info”, to add/change your bio or statement
(maximum 255 characters);
3) “Change my password”, to change your password.
5) “Edit my photos”: this allows you
to add or change your photos, and to edit the title, description
and change the location of your photo on the page. When done, “Save”
and then either go back to your Member’s page (the “Back”
button) or simply log out of your Gallery member’s account
(“Logout”).
The positions are 1-4 in the first line (left to right), 5-8 in
the second, etc… to the fifth line, for a total of 20 photos.
Photo criteria are: .jpg format, max 150 kbs per photo, max
500 pixels wide, max 500 pixels high,
max 80 dpi. If your photo exceeds any of these
criteria, it will be rejected and you will receive a rejection message.
Resize your photo accordingly and try again.
PhotoClub Vancouver has decided at this time not to censure photos
in the gallery, although it reserves the right at any time in the
future to do so or to order photos remove if the Board decides that
the circumstances warrant it.
6) “Update my info”: this allows you
to add/update your bio or statement (max 255 characters), your website
address and your email address. Note that none of these are required,
they are all optional. When done, “Save” and then either
go back to your Member’s page (the “Back” button)
or simply log out of your Gallery member’s account (“Logout”).
7) “Change my password”: if you wish
to change your password, use this function. When done, “Save”
and then either go back to your Member’s page (the “Back”
button) or simply log out of your Gallery member’s account
(“Logout”). If you forget your username or password,
contact the webmaster. Note that changing your password will not
prevent the webmaster from blocking or deleting your account if
necessary.
