INTRODUCTION

PhotoClub Vancouver provides a friendly, non-competitive environment where members of all skill levels can achieve their goals in photography by sharing ideas, experiences and expertise.  The club encourages members to develop their technical and artistic abilities through a variety of club programs, including field trips, critiques, workshops and seminars.

Members meet on the first Monday of each month for a presentation by a guest speaker or member; and the fourth Monday for constructive photo critiques by a guest or other members. Submissions may include the monthly challenge, Henry Ballon, APAC or Field trip photos. Meetings are online via Zoom. Members may also participate in monthly field trips and occasional longer trips, special events, and exhibitions.

PhotoClub Vancouver began as an offshoot of a "Photodocumenting Vancouver" series of photo courses beginning in 1995. Participants in those courses met informally until the club was officially established in 1998.
